1 year since we were in Bucks Examiner

Today it is exactly 1 year since an article was published about our organization in the Buckinghamshire Examiner. Below is a photo of our article that was published in the newspaper exactly a year ago today.

This is by far the most significant event in the history of the Junior Bucks Stop HS2 Organization.  We didn't know at the time that 22 people would go onto our website and sign our online petition. We also didn't know that 78 people at school would sign our anti-HS2 petition by hand. We w...

BAD NEWS VERY BAD NEWS - Today the government has decided that HS2 will go ahead.

3 of us get days off school due to wind damage to roof

Ed, Chris and Alex have already had Wednesday 4th and Thursday 5th January off school due to wind damage. There were high winds in Amersham on Tuesday 3rd January which tore off materials on the roof of the school hall at Dr Challoner's Grammar School. The term was supposed to start on Wednesday 4th January, but it is currently unsafe on the school site. Happy New Year!

2012 will be a big year for all of us at the Junior Bucks Stop HS2 Organization and for many other people against HS2, as 2012 will be the year that Justine Greening MP (the Secretary State for Transport) will make the big decision as whether or not HS2 will go ahead. It will also be a year since we were in the Bucks Examiner on Friday 27th January.
