High Speed 2
I am supporting an idea of the London Underground Metropolitan line to be extended to Watford Junction. Although the existing Watford station would be closed, there will be many benefits: - Quicker access to Birmingham from Chesham, Croxley and all train stations between Aylesbury Vale Parkway and North Harrow, by getting the Croxley Rail Link to Watford Junction and then using the existing London - Birmingham line from there
- It will allow new proposed stations at Ascot Road and Watford Hospital,...

High Speed 2
New figures show High Speed 2 is set to cost the Government £1 billion before any contruction work begins. The figures, revealed under the Freedom of Information Act, have been attacked by anti-HS2 protesters in Bucks. Campaigners have long argued that the business case has not been made for the £34 billion high speed rail project and wanted to find out how much HS2 Ltd had already spent on the link through the Chilterns. The Government has already spent more than £88 million including both r... Continue reading ...

1 year since we were in Bucks Examiner
Today it is exactly 1 year since an article was published about our organization in the Buckinghamshire Examiner. Below is a photo of our article that was published in the newspaper exactly a year ago today. This is by far the most significant event in the history of the Junior Bucks Stop HS2 Organization. We didn't know at the time that 22 people would go onto our website and sign our online petition. We also didn't know that 78 people at school would sign our anti-HS2 petition by hand. We w... Happy New Year!
2012 will be a big year for all of us at the Junior Bucks Stop HS2 Organization and for many other people against HS2, as 2012 will be the year that Justine Greening MP (the Secretary State for Transport) will make the big decision as whether or not HS2 will go ahead. It will also be a year since we were in the Bucks Examiner on Friday 27th January. Continue reading ...

Proposal for Croxley Rail Link means getting to Birmingham quicker
I have heard about a proposal for the LU Metropolitan Line to be extended from Croxley to Watford Junction. We are in favour of this proposal. Here is what that section of the Metropolitan Line would look like if the extension went ahead:
This could make it quicker for people to get to Birmingham from Chesham, Amersham, Little Chalfont, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, Moor Park, Northwood, Northwood Hills, Pinner, North Harrow, Harrow-on-the-Hill, Northwick Park, Preston Road, Wembley Park, Cr... Continue reading ...

Ed goes on first high speed rail link to see the Gadget Show LIVE 2011
Ed, the manager of the Junior Bucks Stop HS2 Organization, went on the first high speed rail link up to The NEC in Birmingham to see the Gadget Show LIVE 2011 over the weekend. He said "The first high speed rail link between London and Birmingham only took 1hr 10 mins on the way and 1hr 30 mins on the way back. The time went very quickly and there is no good reason for a new high speed rail link. A lot of countryside had already had to be destroyed to build the first high speed rail link and ...
