68% of us don't want HS2 to go across the Chilterns

According to a current poll on the Buckinghamshire Examiner website (www.buckinghamshireexaminer.co.uk), 68% of us have answered 'No' in a poll which asks 'Do you support plans for a high speed rail link to whizz trains through the Chilterns on their way from London to the Midlands?' This has made us more confident about stopping HS2, although the poll only asks if people want HS2 to go across the Chilterns, and not if they support the whole idea. I was amazed when I logged on to the Bucks Examiner's website to catch up on the latest news and I saw that our 2nd article was the most popular story after 2 months.

1 year since we were in Bucks Examiner

Today it is exactly 1 year since an article was published about our organization in the Buckinghamshire Examiner. Below is a photo of our article that was published in the newspaper exactly a year ago today.



This is by far the most significant event in the history of the Junior Bucks Stop HS2 Organization.  We didn't know at the time that 22 people would go onto our website and sign our online petition. We also didn't know that 78 people at school would sign our anti-HS2 petition by hand. We w...
